THE GREEN HULK SUPER-SMOOTHIE
100ml coconut water
100ml almond milk
1 large handful of spinach or kale (frozen or fresh)
1/2 medium avocado
1/2 large frozen banana
1/2 small frozen mango
1tsp wheatgrass powder
1tsp coconut nectar
1tsp maca powder
1tsp lucuma powder (can be omitted)
1tsp xanthum gum (if a thicker consistency is desired)
1tbsp cocoa or cacao powder (for those with a sweet-tooth)
1. Add coconut water, milk, coconut nectar, greens and powders to smoothie first. Blend until completely smooth.
2. Add frozen fruit and blend until it reaches desired consistency.
3. Top with coconut chips, granola, a chopped bar or more fruit. Or, pour straight into a tumbler and enjoy!
TIP: Prepare, wash and measure out the dry ingredients the night beforehand and seal in an air-tight container to place in the fridge overnight.
